- In the next steps, candidates have to upload the photo and signature by the following rules set by the SSC CGL 2024. The photograph of the candidate must be clicked on a white or light-colored background and the size of the photograph must be between 4Kb to 12Kb and the resolution of the photo is 100*120 Px in Width and Height. The signature of the candidate must be in blue or black ink with a white sheet and the scan of the signature will be in the JPG format with a size of 1Kb to 12Kb and the resolution of the photo is 40*60 Px in width and height.

SSC CGL 2024 Exam Pattern

SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for the SSC exam is divided into four parts: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.
Tier 1 Exam of SSC CGL: The mode of examination of paper is computer-based and the duration of time is 60 minutes. The total number of questions in the Tier 1 Exam is 100 with 25 questions in each section. The section covered is Reasoning, General Awareness, Aptitude, and English Comprehension. The total marks of this exam are 200, of which 0.5 Marks of Negative marks for every wrong answer.
Tier 2 Exam of SSC CGL: The mode of examination is computer-based and the duration of time is 2 Hours. The paper is divided into three sections. Paper 1 is on Quantitative Abilities and Paper 2 is on the English Language and Paper 3 is on Statistics.
Tier 3 Exam of SSC CGL: This is the descriptive mode paper with a duration of 1 hour. The sections come in the exam are Essary Writing, Application Writing, Letter Writing, etc of 100 Marks.
Tier 4 Exam of SSC CGL: The mode of examination is based on specific posts.
